We believe that the best food comes directly from farms! Whenever and wherever possible, we purchase fresh, local, organic produce, grass-fed beef, eco-friendly seafood, and humanely raised meat and poultry. Some of the farms we work with include: Bloominghill Farm, Blooming Grove, NY, Hepworth Farms, Milton, NY, and Satur Farms, Cutchogue, NY.
We have teamed with ReCORK to collect and reuse wine corks from our events, which are in turned into new products such as yoga blocks and footwear.
We support Heifer International, an organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty by providing livestock and teaching environmentally sound agricultural techniques to people in developing countries.
We use reusable items over disposables. We partner with rental companies to eliminate event waste.

Ryan Brown Catering makes every conscious effort to put sustainability first. We use eco-friendly materials, reduce waste, and use local, organic ingredients. Read on for more ways we understand our role and work to make our food and services truly farm to table.
We use biodegradable, environmentally friendly cleaning supplies and recycled paper products.
We have upgraded our refrigeration equipment with energy saving materials.
We compost all of our food waste. This has cut our garbage output by 75%, by composting and we are able to provide top grade soil for the farms that in turn grow our food.
We ship our drop off catering in recyclable, and/or biodegradable PLA containers made from corn. Our clients can return these used containers to us, and we will compost them in our kitchen.
